The annual Wallace Arts Trust Awards are approaching and the deadline for submissions is coming up within a week, so I’m working quickly on a new painting for that. There is going to be within it an unusual figure quite large in the foreground of a type which is something pretty new for me, at least in my painting.

Exhibition at NKB in Mount Eden
An exhibition at a great little gallery called NKB in Mount Eden, Auckland opens tomorrow. I have three paintings there including ‘Lower level’. Mount Eden is a well known creative and arts oriented suburb just outside of the city and NKB is one of the best galleries in Auckland.
